Broken and cracked panes
A cracked pane in a window, sliding door or balcony door is one of the most common jobs we do. We remove the old glass safely, measure the opening and fit a new pane or double glazed unit. Your frame stays as it is.
Misted double glazing
When the seal around a double glazed unit fails, moisture gets between the panes. The glass looks permanently foggy and can't be cleaned from either side. Your window doesn't need replacing. We replace just the sealed unit, and it's a good moment to upgrade to acoustic or solar control glass at the same time.

Older doors, low-level panes and glass beside steps often have ordinary annealed glass. If it breaks, it breaks into sharp shards. We replace it with toughened or laminated safety glass, which is the right choice for doors, ground floors and anywhere children play.
How it works
Send us a WhatsApp with a photo of the glass and roughly where you are. We'll arrange a visit to measure, because glass has to be cut or made to the exact size. Then we come back to fit it. Single panes are usually quicker to get than sealed double glazed units, which are made to order. We'll give you a time when we measure.

Questions we get asked
Can you replace just the glass and not the window?
Yes. That's what this service is for. If the frame is sound, we fit new glass into it.
Why has my double glazing gone cloudy?
The seal around the unit has failed, so moist air has got between the panes. Replacing the sealed unit fixes it.
Do you replace glass in sliding doors?
Yes. That includes sliding terrace doors, balcony doors and patio doors, in both PVC and aluminium frames.
If my frames are worn out too, what then?
Then new glass alone isn't good value. We'll quote for new UPVC or aluminium windows instead.
