Why UPVC works so well on this coast
Most Benidorm apartments still have the original single glazed aluminium frames the building went up with. They let in traffic noise from the avenidas, heat up the room by mid-afternoon and drip with condensation on cold January mornings. A modern multi-chamber PVC profile fixes all three. The frame itself is a poor conductor of heat, the double glazed unit holds a sealed gap between the panes, and the gaskets close the window properly against wind and dust.
PVC also copes with salt air. It doesn't pit, peel or need painting, which matters if your terrace faces Levante or Poniente beach and takes the full sea breeze every day.
Styles we fit
- Tilt and turn: opens inward like a door for cleaning, or tilts at the top for safe night ventilation. Our most requested window for upper floors.
- Casement: a traditional side-hung window, good for bedrooms and kitchens.
- Sliding PVC: for wide openings where an inward-opening sash would get in the way of furniture.
- Fixed lights and combinations: a fixed pane beside or above an opening sash, made as one frame.
Frames come in white, cream, anthracite grey and a range of woodgrain foils. Grey outside and white inside is a popular choice when the community wants the facade kept uniform but you want a brighter room.

Standard units are 4/16/4 double glazing with a warm-edge spacer. For a flat over a busy street we can fit acoustic laminated glass, and for south and west facing rooms a solar control coating that cuts the heat coming through the glass without darkening the view. Ground floor and villa windows can have laminated safety glass on the outer pane for security.
How a replacement goes
We fit most apartments in a day. The old frame comes out, the opening is cleaned and squared, the new frame is fixed and sealed, and the inside reveal is finished so you are not left with patching to arrange. We take the old windows away with us. If you are not in Spain all year, a neighbour or key holder can let us in and we send photos when the job is done.

Questions we get asked
How long do UPVC windows take to make?
Usually three to four weeks from the measuring visit, depending on the colour and glass. White frames with standard double glazing are the quickest.
Will new windows reduce noise from the street?
Yes, noticeably. Replacing single glazing with sealed double glazing cuts traffic and nightlife noise a great deal, and acoustic laminated glass goes further for rooms on main roads.
Do I need my community's permission?
If the change alters how the facade looks, such as a different colour or opening style, most communities want it approved first. We can give you a drawing and specification to take to the meeting.
Can you match my other windows?
Usually. Tell us when you book the measure and we will bring colour and profile samples so the new windows sit well beside the ones you are keeping.
