Roller shutters (persianas)
A shutter is the best way to keep a room cool. Dropped in the heat of the day, it stops the sun before it reaches the glass. We fit aluminium shutter slats filled with insulating foam that run quietly in their guides. We can replace the slats in an existing box or fit a new box and guides with a new window.
Motorised shutters
Turn a broken tape or crank shutter into a motorised one operated by a switch or remote. For holiday homes, smart motors let you raise and lower the shutters from your phone, which is useful in summer to keep the place cool and in winter to make it look occupied.

Roller screens for windows, pleated screens for terrace doors and fixed frames for kitchens and bathrooms. Pleated door screens have a flat bottom track, so there's nothing to trip over on the way out to the terrace. Every screen is made to measure, so it closes without gaps.
Security shutters
For ground floor apartments, garages and villas left empty, we fit reinforced aluminium security shutters with locking bottom rails, and anti-lift devices that make them hard to force.

Questions we get asked
My shutter tape snapped. Can you fix it?
Yes, it's one of the most common repairs we do. We replace the tape or cord, and the winder if needed, usually in under an hour. Or we can convert it to a motor while we're there.
Can mosquito screens be fitted to sliding doors?
Yes. Pleated or sliding screens are made for terrace doors and leave the opening clear when retracted.
Can you motorise my existing shutters?
In most cases, yes. A tube motor goes into the existing roller, and we add a switch or remote. No building work is needed.
