Turn the terrace into a room you use
An open terrace in Benidorm is wonderful from May to October, and windswept, dusty and cold for much of the rest. A glazed enclosure keeps the light and the view and adds a sun room, a dining space or a home office that you can open up again on warm days. It also keeps the sand and the pigeons out and protects your furniture.
Enclosure systems we fit
- Sliding aluminium enclosures: the most common choice for apartment terraces, with two or three track sliders that open wide.
- Thermal break enclosures: insulated profiles and double glazing for a terrace you want to heat or cool like any other room.
- PVC enclosures: very good insulation, with a choice of white, grey or woodgrain.
- Frameless glass curtains: no vertical frames at all, covered on our glass curtains page.

In tower blocks, the community has usually agreed a standard colour and profile for terrace closures so the facade stays uniform. We work to that standard and can provide drawings and the specification for the community administrator. In villas there's more freedom, and we'll design the enclosure around the roof line, the steps down to the garden and the views you want to keep.
Shade and ventilation
A closed terrace facing south-west can overheat, so we design for airflow from the start. Opening sliders at both ends, solar control glass and roller blinds or awnings keep it comfortable in summer.

Questions we get asked
Glass curtains or a framed enclosure?
Glass curtains give the clearest view and fold right back, but they are not fully sealed. A framed sliding enclosure seals better and suits a terrace you want to use as an extra room in winter. We can show you both.
How long does a terrace enclosure take to fit?
Most apartment terraces are fitted in a day, and larger penthouse or villa enclosures in two. Manufacturing usually takes three to four weeks after measuring.
Can you work on high floors?
Yes. A large share of our terrace work is in Benidorm's towers, and we fit from inside the terrace with the right safety equipment.
